Preheat oven to 425°. Spray a baking sheet with cooking spray. Set aside.
In a small bowl, beat egg with a fork until frothy. In another bowl, place flour, and in a third bowl, place your bread crumbs. Toss the breadcrumbs with garlic powder and Parmesan cheese, and set aside.
Dip the zucchini sticks into the flour, then egg, and then into the bread crumb mixture. Make sure all sides get coated well. Place the sticks on the prepared baking sheet.
Bake at 425° for about 20 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy. Serve warm with Ranch dressing, marinara sauce, or just as is.
My name is Hildy! Mom calls me “pretty girl”, everyone says I have beautiful blue eyes *wink* I am a mini-wiener dog and I love to chase leaves and whatever the wind blows past me. I like bugs and squished worms too! I am 1 and a half years old and I weigh 8-ish pounds Sometimes I weigh more if I eat rocks when we walk on the beach - hee! We live at the tip top of California by the ocean where there are lots of salty rocks and seaweed for me to sneak when mom and dad aren't looking.
Mom and Dad adopted me a year ago from a lady who couldn’t keep me anymore – she kept me in a room with a cat, which was OK, cuz the cat and I were good friends. Now I have cats at my forever-house - Emma, Gracie and Sammy.
Mom and Dad take me on vacations and I get to smell neat stinky stuff and stick my head out the window. Mom posts my pictures on her Clubhouse blog, sometimes I look like a total cornball and I have to woof-woof at her until she changes it! Mom is making a scrapbook of my adventures - it makes people smile.
So far we have traveled to Southern California 4 times! We went to Reno once and to San Francisco to see Uncle John. I even got to ride on Dad's Harley motorcycle in far far away Idaho! I like to ride with Mom and Dad on the Harley, it's fun!
We just got back from our vacation in Death Valley and rode around Nevada! Mom said it would be the best to have the Wiener Nationals in my scrapbook! Watch out, mom might start singing the Wiener Dog Song and she’s really loud!
Mom celebrates Wiener Wednesday every week on her blog – posting all kind of doxies having fun and cool stuff with wieners on them.
We have walks every day, but I like it best when she says “Run Run Run Run” because I can go as fast as I can – she can’t even keep up with me! * snort *
Well, you can see that I would have a crazy blast in the wiener races and of course I want to wear one of those neato vests! Hot cha cha! Hope you pick me!
